HOW TO GET BRAGA
Airports
OPORTO (Porto) Airport
is the closest to Braga (around 45Km). Getting from Oporto airport to Braga. By Taxi. The airport is situated some 45Km from Braga and the trip by taxi will take about half an hour and will cost you up to EUR 45. By Car. If you decide to rent a car it is cheaper to do it on-line, where Expedia  and Travelselect are posible choices. For more information please check the Map of the Region. Note that for the highway toll credit and debit cards will be accepted. By Train. You can also go to Oporto city centre and take a train to Braga. There are Aerobuses leaving the airport to the city centre every 30 minutes, from 07h45 to 19h15, for EUR 2.60. You need to go to the Campanhã train station, from where you may take an Alfa, an Intercity (Intercidades), a Regional or a Suburban (Suburbanos) train to Braga. The Alfa and Intercity trip takes 45 min and allow you to buy your return ticket cheaper. Both the Regional and the Suburban will take a little bit longer than an hour and you might need to change train at the Nine station. You can find information on timetables and prices at the CP Portuguese Railway website. Prices may vary from EUR 1.75 (Suburban) up to EUR 14.50 (Alfa First Class).

LISBON (Lisboa) Airport is 360Km from Braga. If you arrive at Lisbon Airport, the best option is to get a train to Braga. To catch a train you need to go either to the Santa Apolónia or to the Oriente train stations. You have three alternatives: Taxi: Take a taxi to Oriente (or Santa Apolónia) stations. Aerobus, running every 20 minutes to Oriente. Once in a train station, you need to get either an Alfa, an Intercity (Intercidades) or a Regional train to Braga. The trip should takes between 4 (Alfa) and 6,5 (Regional) hours and prices may vary between EUR 20 (Regional) EUR 37.30 (Alfa First Class). Please note that there are just a few direct trains per day between Lisbon and Braga and therefore you might have to change trains, usually in Oporto - Campanhã.
